Mar 16, 2010: Simon Garrity Film Wins Santa Barbara Festival

Simon Garrity (ProSeries 4) enjoyed a win as the story he originally crafted called EXAM won the Panavision Independent Spirit Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.  (See Hollywood Reporter announcement.)   Simon’s original draft was rewritten and shot by writer/director Stuart Hazeldine.   Simon received “Story by” credit, with “Written by” going to Hazeldine.    [...]

Nov. 9, 2009: Kevin Lee Miller Wins Grand Prize

Congratulations to Kevin Lee Miller (ProSeries17) on winning one of the Grand Prizes of the Final Draft Big Break Contest! It is one of the bigger contests (3,000 screenwriters), so this is quite an accomplishment. Great job, Kevin!

Oct. 2, 2009: Wally Zambrano Nominated for Two Emmy Awards
