Screenwriter Marla Hayes (ProSeries 6) has sold the rights to her short film, “PUSH.”  The purchase was for non-exclusive rights and Marla was represented by her sales agent Ouat Media. July 21, 2010: Adrian Havens Scores Pilot Assignment

Screenwriter Adrian Havens (ProSeries 29) signed an agreement to write the pilot for an animated series. The project is being done by Crescent Fawn Studios and is based upon characters of the Pinkerton’s National Detective Agency during the middle 19th century.  Excellent work, Adrian!

July 19, 2010: Lis Anna Sells Rights to Short Film

  Screenwriter Lynn Dickinson (ProSeries 18) signed with New York literary agent Louise Fury, of the L. Claire V. Mahora Peters (ProSeries 12) has had one of her scripts, SOIL OF MY SOUL, optioned by New Zealand producer/director Popo Lilo. April 12, 2010: Beth Scrimger has Script Optioned

Beth Scrimger (ProSeries 24) had her script TWIN SOULS optioned by producer Elihu Upham of Two Lab Productions/Straw Hat Films. The project is now in development and out for funding.  Well done, Beth.

Simon Garrity (ProSeries 4) enjoyed a win as the story he originally crafted called EXAM won the Panavision Independent Spirit Award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.  (See Hollywood Reporter announcement.)   Simon’s original draft was rewritten and shot by writer/director Stuart Hazeldine.   Simon received “Story by” credit, with “Written by” going to Hazeldine.    [...]

March 9, 2010: Kevin Lee Miller Produces Oscar Tribute Video

Mar. 8, 2010: Kenneth Kemp Hired to Adapt Novel

Kenneth Kemp (ProSeries 24) was commissioned to adapt a novel titled NEAR FALL.   The author and producer, Joe Reasbeck, has secured funding.    NEAR FALL is a tween coming-of-age story set in the world of junior wrestling.  Ken is also set to direct the movie.    Great job, Ken!   

Mar. 2, 2010: J.A. Carlton Signs with Manager

J.A.
