Within hours, it was requested by 17 big players, including Red Wagon, Legendary Pictures, and Jerry Bruckheimer’s company. Alyssa is repped by 6-17 Management and Henry by The Gotham Group. Arjona to write the full length feature of the award-winning short “In the Memories.” The short was originally made in Spanish. The feature will be written in English. Looks like it’s going to be a great movie, [...] Feb. 18, 2010: Mark Kratter Completes Writing AssignmentMark Kratter (ProSeries 9) just completed a script-for-hire adaptation of a well-known graphic novel for Stephen L’Heureux of Solipsist Films. L’Heureux is one of the producers on the SIN CITY franchise. Mark has multiple projects in development right now, both as a writer and producer. As always, great job, Mark. Feb. 16, 2010: Don Macnab-Stark’s Script Optioned!Don Macnab-Stark (ProSeries 6) and co-writer Rhys Trenhaile have had their script “The Bulldogs” optioned by Canadian producer Jeff Nadalin. As that project moves forward, Don and Rhys have another script that will soon be shopped a producer as a TV Series for the U.S. market. More news on that later. In the midst of promoting his script, Lee got it to a director – who gave it to her agent – and the connection was made. Jo-Ann Carol is currently shopping Lee’s script to Studios. Great job [...] Feb. 9, 2010: Nicole Jones Hired to Write SequelNicole Jones (ProSeries 19) has been hired to write the straight-to-DVD sequel to GENE GENERATION starring Bai Ling with Jesse Ventura and with MyAnna Buring (THE DESCENT) also attached. The movie is being produced by Bleiberg Entertainment, directed by Pearry Reginald Teo, and is scheduled to start production in March. See an announcement on the [...] Feb. 1, 2010: Nick J. Scott Signs with Respected Management Co.Nick J. Scott (ProSeries 18) has signed with Zero Gravity Management in Los Angeles. Zero Gravity manages, but has also produced 10 films in the last seven years.
