"Working with a producer is like solving a puzzle.  It is amazing."  says Ann Kimbrough, who just finished her second screenwriting assignment with different producers.

In this interview, you'll hear how a writer just like you met a producer, made the deal, and survived the process of doing a "write-for-hire."   For Ann, the producer is Shahrook Oomer of Media Distribution Partners.

Ann talks about how she pitched 12 different ideas to land the job.  She then walks us through what it was like to work with the producer on multiple drafts, and finally get "script approval" from the producer and the finance people.
