ScreenwritingU Alum Karen Sunde (ProSeries 39) has been hired by Producer Howard Shulman to write an adaptation of her own play into a screenplay.  

Shulman saw the play "The Fastest Woman Alive" (a bio-drama of Jackie Cochran) during a play-reading at La Mama E.T.C. in New York, and approached Karen.  

With success on the assignment, Shulman read and signed option agreements for three other scripts that Karen wrote.
